After getting sick from mercury-based fillings, Dr. Balogh understood how even well-meaning non-holistic dentistry can lead to serious health problems.
That experience shaped VCCID’s holistic philosophy. Today, we look at your dental care from a full body perspective, using biocompatible, body-safe materials and choosing less-invasive treatments whenever we can.

Who are we? We’re not tooth fairies, but we like to think we still bring a bit of magic to your smile.
His goal? To help you have a beautiful, healthy smile.
That was his goal when he started as a dentist in Vancouver in 1992, and it’s the same one he has today.
In the 30+ years since then, he’s spent thousands of hours working with patients and continuing his education in general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, all so that he can be a better care provider for you.
Restoring and beautifying smiles is his life’s work.
There’s nothing more fulfilling for Dr. Balogh than seeing someone walk out of their dental appointment feeling like their smile is amazing.
It’s why he loves cosmetic and implant dentistry — they give you the confidence and ability to enjoy a fuller life, all because of your smile.

Dr. Huang is an expert in restoring gum health.
It doesn’t matter if you’re just looking to stop bleeding when you brush or if you need extensive gum grafting before implant surgery — Dr. Huang can help.
Thanks to her extensive training, she’s comfortable with all areas of periodontics, whether it’s helping patients build healthy everyday habits or planning complex regenerative procedures.
As a former hygienist, she knows that daily gum care can be a struggle.
Over 6 years, she spent countless hours treating patients and speaking with them about their daily oral healthcare habits.
It means that she really gets the challenges that people face when it comes to taking care of their gums, and she now uses that knowledge to create treatment plans that are effective but still easy to stick to.
Dr. Sra wants you to feel safe and comfortable.
Those might seem like small or basic things, but to her they’re must-haves. Without them, it’s harder for you to stick to the right daily habits or seek out the treatments — and you need both to maintain great oral health.
Her emphasis on comfort isn’t only about being gentle — it includes education, too. She wants every visit to feel like you’re coming in to chat with an old friend, not like you’re sitting down for a test.
Her special interests are in Invisalign and prosthodontics.
Dr. Sra has years of experience as a general dentist, and her main focus is still on treating everyday patient needs.
She’s never been one to be satisfied with just the basics, though, so she’s continuing to expanded her skillset with focused training on some of today’s most in-demand treatments like Invisalign, bridges, and dentures.

Before becoming a dentist, Justin spent years working behind VCCID’s front desk as well as supporting the clinical staff.
That time showed him a side of the patient experience that most dentists never see. Whether it was speaking with anxious callers or hearing about the financial challenges of getting dental care, it’s brought a deep sense of empathy and understanding to the way approaches your care.
